When I spoke in recent blog entries about this wannabee terrorist Derrick I mentioned the shaving of all the body hair as a "cleansing ritual" engaged in by jihadi terrorists when they embark on a suicide mission.

Some sort of ablutions that the jihadi goes through comporting to Islamic hygenic jurisprudence prior to death and entry into "paradise".

The ablutions angle reminds me of reports that surfaced after the AZF incident. The largest fertilizer plant in France was blown sky-high under mysterious and strange circumstances.

This may be to do about nothing, but one of the employees was the object of suspicions. Linked to Al Qaeda [??] and DRESSED in the manner of a jihadi on a suicide mission.

"Hassan Jandoubi, an Islamist with possible connections to Al Qaeda, had started working at the AZF fertilizer factory in suburban Toulouse, France, just days before a massive explosion took place there last Sept. 21. This, the worst catastrophe ever in a French chemical plant, killed Jandoubi and 29 others, injured 2,000, destroyed 600 dwellings, and damaged 10,000 buildings.

The autopsy revealed that Jandoubi was wearing two pairs of trousers and four pairs of underpants, which the coroner compared to what is worn by "Islamic militants going into battle or on suicide missions." Also, the chemical plant was processing ammonium nitrate [AM], a stable chemical that requires a substantial infusion of energy to explode [something other than the AM must be the cause of the detonation]."

What is one to make of all this??!!

[I have blogged extensively about AM explosions. This blast at the AZF factory was SMALL compared to some other "grand events" of this nature. Such as what occurred at Texas City.]
