I am trying to find out more about this Derrick [not spelled Derek evidently] the wannabee terrorist in Rockford, Illinois.

I have it from an informed source that Derrick did have brushes with the law, but NOT serious "brushes".

"He has had a few traffic tickets and still owes $ for them. He drives without insurance, a license, etc. He originally wanted to blow up a city hall in some other town and also kill a judge. Probably because of the run ins with them."

Derrick in the affidavit is quoted as wanting to "ice" a judge.

Traffic tickets, no insurance, no license, etc. Well, I guess that is reason to kill someone. [at least in the mind of Derrick it is a reason why!!]

I would like to find out more about his conversion to Islam.

* Did he do time in prison and was he converted through prison da'wa!

[young angry black men in prison are a target that Muslims just love to "convert".]

* Did he have someone that inspired him to become a lone wolf?

Etc.

I greatly suspect that Derrick is just a pissed off young man who want revenge on the whole of society for his own failings. And sees Islam as a means to obtain that revenge and justify the whole thing in his own mind. To me he is just another good example of an odd-ball crackpot.

Derrick seems to be conversant in some Islamic terms and concepts referring to the "infidel" [that is us, the non-Muslim.]and also to certain specific jihadi practices.

* Derrick constantly speaks about the"kaffir" [various spellings such as kufr!]. Those non-believers who worship other than Islam.

* Talks about shaving his whole body just prior to doing the terrorist acts.

With regard to the latter, the body shaving of hair, this is something the jihadi on a martyrdom operation does. I am not clear as to where this come from. Perhaps to purify and "cleanse" themselves just prior to meeting their GOD [the devil in the case of suicide bombers!!]. Islam does have some pretty well laid out rituals for body cleansing. But I am not sure how any of this pertains to martyrdom.

There is something else about the language used by Derrick. He is overly fond of using the "N" word. You know what word I am talking about! N * * * * R. He uses this word over and over. Trouble here. Derrick is a black man. When he uses the word, he is talking about WHITE persons. Contemptuous hatred!!?? Derrick is just a man with a whole lot of HATE inside of him!!
