For Official Use ONLY.

This is coolbert:

Snowflakes”.

Also, from the Chicago Tribune today:

“Amid flak, Rumsfeld, fired off ‘snowflakes’”

By Robin Wright - - The Washington Post.

During his tenure as Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld issued a blizzard of memos to his staff. Referred to as “snowflakes” [white paper descending on subordinates as if it was a snow storm]. Twenty to sixty memos per day!!

NOT classified, but For Official Use Only.

Some of these memos have come to light and are available for the general public to read.

Some of course will be controversial.

Such as this assertion by Rumsfeld:

Muslims avoid ‘physical labor’”.

From the memo:

“he also laments that oil wealth has at times detached Muslims ‘from the reality of the work, effort and investment that leads to wealth for the rest of the world. Too often Muslims are against physical labor, so they bring in Koreans and Pakistanis while their young people remain unemployed,’ he wrote. ‘An unemployed population is easy to recruit to radicalism.’”

THE WORDING AS USED BY DONALD RUMSFELD IS NOT QUITE RIGHT HERE IN SEVERAL INSTANCES!!

NOT Muslims BUT ARABIC Muslims of the Arabian Peninsula disdain manual or menial labor. Large numbers of foreign import workers HAVE BEEN USED AND ARE BEING USED BY THE VARIOUS NATIONS of the Arabian Peninsula.

Koreans, Indonesians, Pakistanis, Palestinians, Filipinos, etc., all imported to do back-breaking, hard, physical and menial labor still required, even in a modern society.

This has been the case for DECADES.

[an episode dealing with Kuwait, pre-1990, was shown on “Sixty Minutes” a number of years ago. The most menial position a Kuwaiti citizen would take is cab driver. Other jobs at that level and below, FOR FOREIGNERS ONLY!!]

And the term unemployed is not quite right either. UNEMPLOYABLE IS MORE CORRECT!! A fairly large percentage of Saudi young men have degrees, primarily in RELIGIOUS STUDIES. NOT engineering, business, finance, marketing, etc. There is a dearth of NEEDED skills among youth of the Arabic peninsula.

An abundance of UNEMPLOYABLE young men with degrees in religious studies makes for AN EVEN MORE VOLATILE MIX!! Obvious candidates for recruitment to religiously based jihad movements??!!

coolbert.
