Forrestal.

The death by suicide, in 1993, of the Presidential aide [to President Clinton] Vince Foster, stirred up a lot of interest, speculation and rumor, none ever found to be valid.

Some suggestions were made at the time that this suicide was the result of NOT merely depression and mental illness, but something bigger.

NONE of that speculation was EVER confirmed. Remained only speculation, and somewhat specious at that.

"The [Starr] report refutes claims by conservative political organizations that Foster was the victim of a murder plot and coverup,"

At the time of Foster's suicide, mention was made that this was the first time something of this kind [suicide] had happened at such a high level of government in fifty years. For a person in such a high position of governmental affairs to take their own life is very, very rare.

The person fifty years prior to end his life by suicide was James Forrestal.

Had recently been removed [??] as Secretary of Defense. Was Secretary of the Navy prior to that.

A man of accomplishment who ended his own life under very tragic circumstances.

The suicide of Forrestal was also seen by some at the time as being something that was questionable. Questions about his death have persisted to this day. IS ACTUALLY A HOT BUTTON TOPIC ITEM ON THE INTERNET!! Surprisingly so!!

Forrestal was undeniably a mentally ill person. Was placed under treatment and was being successfully treated. As well as a mentally ill person could be treated at the time. Drugs now available for treating the mentally ill were not around at the time [1949].

And yet, Forrestal, while in treatment, leaped to his death, depression and mental illness being deemed the cause.

Obviously, for such an eminent person as Forrestal to suffer from mental illness has real ramifications when it comes to national defense.

[Also keep in mind, that under current law, the Secretary of Defense is fifth in line for the Presidency. Presidential succession goes to Vice-President, Speaker of the House, President Pro-temp of the Senate, Secretary of State, and then Secretary of Defense. The Secretary of Defense is also a member of the National Security Council. President, Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense, and National Security Advisor. The folks, that would make the decision, in a crisis, to give the "go signal" for the use of nuclear weapons.]

Security could be jeopardized in a big manner. A person suffering from mental illness might blurt "things" [classified information] out without even thinking of the consequences of what they are doing. Compromise "things" that are very sensitive.

Decision making of course would be impaired. If the mentally person was retained in office, and their condition NOT totally appreciated, decision making under impairment would be the result.

A number of candidates have been alluded to by conspiracy advocates as having had a hand in the death of Forrestal [if it was other than suicide]:

* Communists. [Forrestal was avidly anti-communist.]

* Zionists. [Forrestal was pro-Arab.]

* Majestic-12 conspirators.

It is that last category that gets so much attention. Majestic-12 of course refers to UFO's, space aliens, extra-terrestrials, etc.

Really far-out [literally so] stuff that is very fringe and way out of the main stream. It is even speculated that the mental illness Forrestal suffered from was a result OF HIS ACTUALLY HAVE SEEN, AT HIS INSISTENCE, A LIVE ALIEN THAT WAS BEING HELD CAPTIVE BY THE U.S. GOVERNMENT!!!

My estimation, Forrestal just suffered mental illness from overwork, stress, and natural causes. Mental illness is a disease and affliction no different from any other physical ailment that you can contract.

The death of Forrestal was in all probability not the result of space aliens or other conspirators.
